Carrboro High School’s JagTheatre recently welcomed 12 new members into the International Thespian Society (ITS) Troupe #8506. ITS is the only U.S. honor society for middle and high school theatre students.

Current JagTheatre ITS members kicked off the evening with a showcase of music and dance numbers. The showcase was followed by a candlelight ceremony where new inductees pledged to uphold the tenets of the society. A family and friends potluck dinner rounded out the night.

ITS recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement and celebrates the work of students in all aspects of theatre – performance and production.
